Motto

Student Motto: Be Safe. Show Respect. Work Hard. Finish Strong. Help Someone. Be You!

Vision

Connecting to foster the minds and hearts of leaders.

Philosophy

Students need engaging and relevant learning opportunities.

Students need to be active participants in learning.

All students can learn and show learning with the appropriate tools, resources, approaches, and relationships.

Parent and guardian engagement in education is integral to student success.

Beliefs

We value the mental, physical, social, and emotional well-being of every student. Strong connections and relationships help us to develop a growth mindset to do hard things – such as new learning, apologies, long-term projects, critical thinking, and appreciating differences of opinion. We value honesty, respect, courage, kindness, and leadership, and believe in using our strengths to help others in the community and in the world. Just as our community is diverse, so are we. Valuing different languages, cultures, and abilities helps us to be better together.

Please Be Nut Aware

Many students in our care suffer from life-threatening allergies. This extreme form of allergy is called anaphylaxis and results in an individual going into respiratory arrest after contact with a known allergen. As per EIPS Policy, we are bound to provide a safe environment for all students. Since this is a life threatening allergy and our school is home to many small children, we must comply with EIPS Policy and not send peanuts and nuts of any kind to the school. This includes products with trace amounts in them. If you are not sure if it contains nuts, please have your child wash their hands after eating any unknown items.

For more information about anaphylaxis, please see the administration of the school. We appreciate your support, empathy and compassion for all of our students.
